Ice too cold to melt away
Love's godlike might and warmth can't defrost my heart
Love can try to wire me anew with its sorcery
Love can deceive me into seeing a world of beauty and art
But the devilry in me knows it's all but trickery

My heart is something too cold to steal
And my body feels too baleful to hold
My lips taste metallic like steel
And my glances scare even the bold

My soul has become a new ice age
A cold no mount of love can ever melt away
Storms howl and growl inside me with passion and rage
Love's too weak against my cold to ever snare my heart away
