An Englyn Unodl Union poem.
I asked my best friend Joe one day to help
me with this odd display.
Poetry unveiled one way;
Englyn Union, so they say.

I waited anxious for my friend to come
from down around the bend.
I was sure that he would spend
time to this poetic end.

When waiting on a friend, the mind can soar.
Within yourself you find
memories you left behind;
some are caustic, some are kind.

He finally arrived and I was glad
to face him eye to eye.
First I served him apple pie;
we talked writing, by and by.

I then asked Joe if he had seen or knew
what that strange word might mean.
U-N-O-D-L on screen--
In a flash Joe split the scene.
