Pessimistic Hendecasyllabic Poem for Writer's Cramp
This poem was written for "The Writer's Cramp. It is a Hendecasyllabic poem. That means each line should be 11 syllables if I did it right and that is the only requirement.

Take Us to Orange

It seems like a normal, ordinary spring,
Freedom stolen one day and changed everything

Life didn't transform us on gossamer wings
or take us to orange as fall likes to sing

These seasons will find us shocked out of our minds
Looking backwards for answers, clocks to unwind

Can't get close enough to hug, much less to dance
Forget about joy for now, no bloody chance

We wait for tomorrow, so afraid to hope
Will it ever get better? Answer is "nope"
