A poem about how I have felt about the global experience of quarantine.
For the month I was consumed
Oscillating on waves of anger and sadness
Distracting myself with clamor and commotion
My hunger unsatisfied
A warning in my chest
That no matter what I do
A beast awaits me at the end.
