A poem on trying to complete a sketch, looking the pencil in a daze,asking what's normal
A Dazed Normal
Half finished sketckes lying around
Scattered half done notes,
Petals that have yet to morph into flowers
Some scribbled letters and charcters in a notebook,
A futile attempt to learn languages;
The laptop running and left to charge
I gaze upon the pencil in a daze,
There it is lying beeching me to complete the sketch
News filter to my ears as background noise
I hear news, press meet, confernces, opinions and many others
Anxiety and worry seeps through my veins
Listlessness fills my body:
Nothing seems to grab attention, all half done;
Times see a lot now, when before it was quicksilver
I still stare sometimes in a daze, sometimes frowning;
Many times trying to concentrate,
Most times trying to push back worrying:
I am left in a daze
Trying to get normalized to a new normal.
