June Poetry of the Month Contest
It's a Beautiful Day

There's magic in these words,
Whether I whisper them quietly,
Or say them out loud.
My eyes, my face, my whole being,
Responds with a smile.

And my heart cheers me on.
I look at the chaos
All around me,
And know it will change.


So even in all of
The world's unsettledness,
I can say,
It's a beautiful day.
