Enthralled by nature's beauty, I ponder over the thoughts that fill me with joy
Spreading my arms wide I let the wind be my guide
gently caressing my cheeks, it plays with my long tresses

As I frolic on the beach barefoot
the incoming waves urge me to jump in,

they slow down, scatter their surf
aimlessly around my feet

The wet sand tickles my sole
I flash a smile, soak up the sunlight
feeling its warm embrace

Not far away the gulls soar high
indulging in a tete-a-tete with the wind

Soon my eyes follow the drifting clouds
till they disappear into the twilight

Gazing at the subtle rays, I reflect upon
these moments of glee that are mine

I know I’m alone, free, but not lonely.
