I'm not ashamed to admit that I have scars, it makes me who I am. A survivor of depression
Do you see those faded scars across her wrist?

They were once cuts, that she had curved deeply

Into her beautiful skin with an old and dull blade.

Do you see that all she wears is long sleeves?

With specks of blood on them, as she tries to

Hide away that dark of a secret from everyone.

Do you see how much she tries to distance herself?

As she struggles with depression and fight through

The horrible thoughts that are running wild inside of her head.

Do you see the tears in her eyes that threaten to fall?

She's trying her best to keep her composure, so that

No one else would walk away from her.

Do you see now or do you need more reasons?

She's been through hell and back for eleven years.

While fighting the battle of mental illness by herself.

Do you see why she chooses to self-inflict?

The physical pain...that she causes herself

Distracts herself from the pain that she feels inside.

Do you see how much pain that she's in?

She cannot express it with words.

But it shows through her actions.

Do you see why it's hard for her to trust someone?

Everyone has hurt her both mentally and physically.

They've lied straight to her face and broken promises.

Do you see why she closes herself up and not talk

About her emotions and how she truly feels?

She rather hold in everything and fake happiness.

Then to watch the people that she cares about, leave.

Do you see...or yet understand?

She's invisible to the world.

A black sheep to her family.

No body will see or understand what she has to go through.

Or what she has went through for eleven years.

That's why...she gave up on fighting depression.

Gave up on finding friends and a relationship.

She has been dead inside for a very long time.

Now it's time to kill her physical body.

She was only nineteen years old...

But her story already came to an end.
