Making the unconscious conscious.
The shadow is a concept introduced by C.g.jung. it represents all our unaccepted behavior and thoughts those that are usually considered as taboo, wrong or evil. The shadow are used to defend ourselves against unknown circumstances and people, thus its acting a survival mechanism.
