Anatomy

8:03 PM

They are my limbs; for I am always reaching out for them.

And I knew I always would be.

From the time they came from me and I reached to hold them to the last time I get to carry them in my arms I will be reaching; searching for their presence to know it is still here.

They are my breath, because

If ever I cannot find them, it is paused.

And I cannot again catch it until my sight rests upon their faces.

They are my heart

Because

It is only their rhythm that keeps me alive

If they stop

I stop

I could not live if they did not live

But him?

He is rooted in my soul.

There would not be a me, without him.

His essence is in every move I make and his energy moves with mine and breathes life into my existence.

The moment he intertwined with my perception is when his permanence announced itself.

Since then,

I could not imagine a time before him.

He was the piece of me that I was always searching for; yearning

And when I finally found him

I was complete
