Struggling in sports then finding amazing wealth in some way - a poem.
The past exposed such deficits -
Surprised, we’d reappear -
This how grand the fortune gets;
Aimlessly, we steer.

Then came days of victory;
Swords in battle swung.
Times so charmed and cheerfully,
Sweetly, choirs sung.

An offense took a fancy leap;
Shallowly, we’d spit -
Then the costly strides weren’t cheap;
Lord, this must be it...

Love’s a blend of freakish will
Turning no blind eye;
Truly destined, now we thrill,
Auspiciously, we try.
