Poetry Topic of the Month Contest for October
WDC and Halloween,
go together, so it seems
October night fright or delight,
writing stories every night

Spooks and goblins, them readers dread
Nightmares dance in their heads
dreamers write before going to bed
What stories are lurking that they dread

Instead of writing cancer boo’s
Beating breast cancer you can’t loose
Health and Joy I hope for you
and, no more cancer blues

Party hearty this Halloween
Spooks and goblins, make this scene
Get pen and paper so you can write
your best poem on Halloween night
