A poem I wrote 37 years ago while riding a bus in Saskatoon.
Blue, the sky overhead,
White, the clouds drifting by,
Green is the grass that is underfoot,
And I'm glad that I am alive.

Wild the waves of the sea,
Quick the ripples in a brook,
Calm are the waters that rest in a lake,
Just as calm as is love in a look.

Mountains along BC's coast,
Tundra and ice way up north,
Prairies that stretch from the east to the west
All this splendor in Canada set forth.
