"I have, I have not" as I pluck flower petals
I must have looked up at the misty cerulean
That winter left as its farewell gift for the lost souls

I must have waved at the waking magpies
That waltzed across the sky with their
Pristine cobalts and beryls, scintillating
Under spring's first sunrays

I must have also waltzed across my garden
Pretending I was a nymph dancing inside
A painting full of whirling sunflowers

I must have opened my arms and waited
For the sea and the sky to engulf me

But now my mind can't grasp which ones I lived
And which ones I merely dreamed of
