birds sing in sunshine
blithely before blizzard ice
quiets those taken



I keep several bird feeders in the winter and I noticed how excited the birds seemed on a sunny frosty morning before a blizzard was predicted to hit. It was as if they were celebrating their lives together before the coming storm.

I wonder if that's the way life was meant to be lived.
