Computers versus humans

The topic of man versus computer came up and a question was asked which one is more sophisticated and capable. My response was computers are capable of solving problems by converting variables into mathematical equations which produces potential solutions. Humans are just as adept to performing the same equations and arriving at the same solutions however humans are more complex as they are also capable of creating the very problems they are determined to solve.
