Winter, time for reflection, to look into our own soul, along comes nature's interruption.
A Gentle Wolf Visits

Winter, silent beauty, keeper of deep serenity.
White virginal snow covers all, a blanket of innocence.
Pillow clouds, marshmallow soft, invites gentle sleep.
Snowflakes, delicate lace uniquely made, divine mist.

Crunchy sounds, making brand new trails,
watching your breath hanging loose in quiet air.
Icicles, artistic shapes, sun shines, liquid mirror thaw.
New snowfall, crispy ice, iridescent balls spell awe.

Fairyland of frosty snowmen and body angels.
A sharp wind catches my knit cap, he retrieves.
Our eyes meet, snow mist eyelashes, red cheek caress.
Hunger travels twixt your grey eyes to surround me.

Falling in lust, mistletoe, hot chocolate kisses.
Skating in circles, paradise on ice, cold hands, warm mouth.
Bed of silken pelts, fur lined quilt, love bites to satisfy.
One season of sleek promises then a strong north turns south.

A lesson learned, winter is perfect for a romantic tryst.
A heart cold warms up, quiet peace, a perfect stillness.
The end comes, silence all around, time to think, not resist.
Natures test for life’s complications, face springs restlessness.
