Enthusiastic Confusion
I feel myself embraced in blue; it's not entirely uncomfortable
The deepest pains I used to dread
Seem magically to lend
Some bonding pledge within my heart
Not only in my head

My heart is racing yellow now
And all the world's a wonder
Opportunities are vast and wide
My soul is searching heaven

Here comes red, when will it end
This confusion makes me bitter
Am I really moving on
Or is this some sick trick

Back to yellow, just hold on
The winds of change will pick me up
What used to be a burden
Is just fuel to make it stick

On no! Here's black, the one that threatens
Never to let go
It's just that nagging voice again
Pleading my surrender

Pinks and teals and auburns mix
To fill the other days
Until the darker shades rush in
Urging me to change

Yellow once again prevails
There is a God, I know it
Please keep me in the sun once more
I promise I'll enjoy it.
