The burden bare-
must the snare die
to spare the truth?


Than-bauk is a Burmese form. Each line has four syllables. The rhyme is in the last syllable of line one, the third syllable of line two, and the second syllable of line three.

Modification: The first, second, and third syllables from the left are the word "the," thus (X) ing the stanza.

(The answer is always, "Yes.")
