My little scribble about God. The God that the Americans have shown me.
In the light there stands a figure
In the light there stands his love
That God almighty is truth above

I never asked, I never thought
I never seeked and never fought
But God came and leant a torch.

But, I secretly called, I secretly yelled
I yearned his touch, his scent I smelled
But God and demons came and sold.

I am a gargoyle, spout and strong
Protecting humans, young and old
I ask God to see the untold.

Chariot to the heavens, God is here
In the thunder, you can hear
The power of God, the one so dear.

Silent prayer, silent praise
Look to the heavens and he will praise
In love and guidance, God prevails.
