The Light
It blinds me
But I can still see

The Light
It is just a glimmer
It is just a glint
It is just a flash
But it is all I need.

The Light
Makes a path
Makes a road
Makes a lane
In the dark
In the dim
In the shadows

The Light
Lets me appreciate
How dark our world is without it
Lets me appreciate
How it will never leave me
