What is Juneteenth Day
What does it represent
Where did it come from anyway
Who named it with brain absent?

Juneteenth is not even a word
At least not that I am aware
The whole concept is quite absurd
My question for that is fair.

Juneteenth must be a modern thing
It was not here when I was a child
I just wish they would do some explaining
The whole world has gone wild.

An old man like me sputters and prays
One never know what to think these days!
