The one stoplight In Cody, Wyoming still blinks...
The one stoplight
In Cody, Wyoming still blinks.

On a summery Saturday evening
We rolled into Cody,
More asleep than awake.

I was looking for a hotel
And bite to eat,
But it seemed everyone
Was at the drugstore
And not gathered around
The one horse
In this sleepy little town.

So we bought CocaCola
And motored on toward Powell
On a summery evening.

The one stoplight in
Cody Wyoming still blinks.
