Weed Your Garden Day

It's that day of the year we always dread;
time to weed the gardens and the flower beds,
for trimming the trees and mowing the lawn -
monotonous work that'll make you yawn.
But, Oh! the results can be so pleasing
that is, when you aren't stuck sneezing.
When the grass is short and the beds all clean
sit back and, at last, enjoy some ice cream!
