A love poem
I was a lost one
Trapped in the muck of the abyss
That’s where you found me
In the cold and the dark
And it was there, in hell
The only home I’ve ever known
You, my light, my savior
Reached out to me
Attaching your life to my life with your grip
Promising that no man or woman
Will ever break that love that binds us free
And we were happy
But then it was me
And the darkness in my heart
Which destroyed our flame
And I begged you
Not to completely forsake us
And light we had
But even I could see
Your light is dimmer than before you met me
So you left, and I didn’t try to stop you
And my heart died
Because it was all on me
So I went back into the dark
Where devil gave me a kiss
And said welcome home
A darker place
Is where you're meant to be
