poem about a toxic relationship
We both knew in our heart of hearts
That once I called
You would come
Eyes wide, ready for me
You know as well as I know
That lately I haven't been alone in my sheets
You’re not so stupid
Then to believe me when I say you're all that matters to me
I tell my little lies, little white lies
But you see through these amber eyes
That tomorrow,
A quarter past three
At my favorite time
Inside another woman is where I'm gonna be
But you give yourself to me
You give your heart, soul, and body to me
I wonder as I watch you sleep
How can you love a man like me?
You’re insane
Or maybe, just maybe
You, my masochist
Love the pain
