and I wasn't even in Georgia!
The devil he tried to tempt me
I just laughed and spat in his eye
He’d got nothing that I needed
And I didn’t want to buy a lie

He spread the kingdoms of earth beneath me
Told me, they could all be mine
But what would I want with them?
I’m afraid I must decline.

"Then maybe you want women
Got a selection here you see."
Told him "I'm married, I don't need them."
Now that's one up to me

"If it's knowledge that you're seeking
You'll find I know a thing or two."
"Like the quickest way to hell", I said
"Now be off with you."
