anywhere or nowhere...
North Dakota boredom broken up:
Out of all the places I would have picked,
Rugby seemed to be the center of nothing.
The stone marker with longitude and latitude
However, proclaimed North America’s center.

Driving Dakota’s endless flat roads,
Another mile and another rolls by,
Keeping me barely conscious.
Out of all the places I would have picked
To put a pile of stones to mark division
Anywhere or nowhere North Dakota
Would have been the last place.
