She was a very odd girl
Her eyes were like her father’s
A brilliant shade of blue
Unfortunately for Lily though
She had his mustache too

And when it came to color
Her skin was splotchy white
Her arms and legs were long on her
No, nothing fit quite right

She was a very odd girl
Not shaped with any grace
Her head was much too big, you see
But with a happy face

She showed a toothy smile
Unfortunately so
She only had two teeth on top
And maybe four below

Her hair was much too curly
A vibrant shade of green
Probably not the kind of hair
That you have ever seen

She showed her dad the drawing
His face showed his surprise
She’d drawn a picture of herself
He smiled and said, “Nice eyes”
