Immersed
Yet uncovered
Down under
Where the spirits hovered.
The mind is strong
Outwitting the
Advent of temptation.

It's a funny world
Of 'associates'
Many
Are diligent and hardworking
Who have worked tirelessly
And often selflessly
To survive
And make a headway
In life.
Brushed up
Against hundreds of people
Who simply pretend
To be friends.

But, who are friends?
Those true
And
Real.
Others only seek
Self-advancement;
Who are
Fake, farce,
Uncompassionate
And lack empathy
And are just a representative
Of the harsh world.
