I am Living at the End of a Cycle

I am living at the end of an era--
an aeon--
looking into the fog shrouding
a new and glorious future
for humanity.

I am meditating
on the ending that will
become a new beginning!

I am contemplating
the transformation of matter
into energy,
and of energy into matter..

I am praying
that I will survive
long enough
to see
the beginning of the new normal
that will establish
world peace
and will unite humankind
into a single species.
