playing blackjack at a casino with all the luck in the world
I had my lucky cap on
and my lucky underwear.
I had my lucky chocolate cake,
sat in my lucky chair.

I played against my lucky dealer,
who'd been good to me.
The table was a lucky green,
I tapped my lucky knee.

Around me rumbled lucky noise
the clangs, the spins, the groans,
He dealt, we played, I hit, I stayed--
in my lucky zone.

I had my lucky twenty,
but the house had twenty-one.
I lost this hand. But I had luck,
so played again and won.
