my wife served 20 years as a US army officer retiring as a major.

To My favorite Vet

Angela Lee
Is my favorite vet.

She answered the call
To duty
In 1988,

Served with honor
And distinction
20 years as a major.

She will always be my major
The major of my heart
The captain of my soul
The veteran of my love.
