Poem about climate change
Summer has gone away
it would not stay
A chill is in the air today
Our garden plots cry
for the sun to fill the sky
Guess gusting wind is why
the tomato bushes die
My potato plants thrive
and manage to stay alive
Planted winter seeds today
cabbage, kale, and such
Seems we need to water
twice as much
for the constant winds
dry the topsoil and bends
everything to the ground
The climate is changing
and may we be wise enough
to learn new ways
