A poem from my high school days.
Autumn

October’s laughter, crisp and clear,
Perfect ending for the year--
Fairy frost and sunshine bright,
Brilliant day and chilly night;
Golden sun and russet leaves
The web of color autumn weaves.
Artist’s vision,
Lovers’ dream,
Ever-lovely
Starlight gleam
Time moves on, and nights grow colder;
Golden days are burnished golder;
White and pure, the virgin snow,
Sparkling, watches autumn go.

Oct 8, 1964. Okay, I was in Grade 11, so forgive me for "golder".
