On Halloween NIght

On Halloween night when the headless horseman rides,
when skeletons through cemeteries stride,
when witches and warlocks congregate
around a steaming cauldron to wait
for the whining midnight wind
to blow through cobwebs bestrewing dead limbs.
and scare anyone who dares
to brave the witching hour.
