An attempt at poetry. I would love to improve.
BEEP BEEP BEEP, goes the alarm.
6:30 am, time to get up.
I force myself, 'cause I hate this place.
Anger fuels the drive to the gym.
only five minutes from base.
I tune in live, on a whim.
Only to find that my world seems grim.
Comparison to those who laugh, and enjoy;
I only seem to struggle and employ.
I employ my skills in hopes of solving my problem,
just to be shadowed, by a lackadaisical model.
I question my life.
I beg the creator to give me a break.
Alas, I am affirmed that breaks are for the damned.
Those who continue to fight the good fight,
will one day be granted the keys to delight.
