Writer's Cramp winner 211114
There was a light dusting of snow,
On the bright orange leaves.

A northern afternoon cold snap,
Bringing low temps and sleeves.

This time is the only time we have.
Forgather tools and food.
Face the challenge of days ahead,
Winter's trump card elude.

The chatters of gold and scarlet,
Facades falling away.
We pray for fellowship and grace,
This brisk Thanksgiving Day.

Take care to safeguard your delight,
Late autumn skies admire,
Remember Love rules this domain,
Like unquenchable fire.
