Writer's Cramp
Along the twisty path I go,
Skipping all the way.
I see a cat with fourteen eyes
Coming back my way.

Along the twisty path I go,
Running all the way.
I see Napoleon's army
Fighting all the day.

Along the twisty path I go,
Dancing all the way.
I see a heap of text books
Blocking off my way.

Along the twisty path I go,
Trudging all the way.
I see ahead the daily grind,
The things I do for pay.

Along the twisty path I go,
Lumbering all the way.
I trip, I fall, I struggle
Until my final day.
