Pieces falling into place - Writer's Cramp entry
"I'm not your father," he said.

Dressed in her competition attire, Marion slowed nearly imperceptibly to reply, "Father's day was yesterday. The card's in the mail."

Father's day was actually 15 days away. This stranger would not correct her, however. He simply put his coat on the rack and walked out of the lobby. Each pocket had a third of the same note card in it; one inside with the left and right holding the other pieces. All pockets were sewn shut. Marion would take that coat after today's practice. She knew where each piece fit since she was the fourth corner.

Borders come next.
