In Memory Of Christopher McCandless. Search the film "Into The Wild" Directed by Sean Penn
After the moment of seeing the mountains distant, came a time of spiritual gain
The seeing, the power, the glory of man, is all in my mind with no pain.

I run away to a distant land where nobody has to fight
I soar to the sky, in wonder do I, as I dwell in the land of the light.

Glory of freedom in the name of the spirit
There is a calling, and I know you can hear it.

I run like a child, far away, reaching for someone with something to say
I climb the mountain with all my might, this here is glory, be the light of the day.

I am touched, I am fulfilled, for I've seen the light
This isn't about God this is my spirits plight.

Alone in the wild, alone in the world
My spirit is reeling, a sense unfurled.

My humble existance is worthy and real
As I sit atop life's mountain, my life unveiled.

Come with me now to a place you desire
Spirit alive and souls on fire.

Into the wild, a life anew.
