If you calm my demons, I'll lay yours to rest. |
BPD 1/1/22 Leah Stone What way will you hold me? When I feel the sun's light won't meet my skin, and everything around me is arduous; What words will you whisper in my ear? To calm the agony of my being. I need to know before we go too far, because we won't survive this love if you cannot sit in my midnight. Will you stay when it gets ghastly? Show me a way to live without guilt gnawing at my soul? You don't need to carry the weight for me, just teach me where to put my heart so it breaks a little softer. When the pain is too loud, and I'm no longer your angel; If you think you'll walk away, don't force yourself to stand still. What way will you hold me? |
