A mountain in New Hampshire and a life...
Somewhere there's a tired old car
With a barely legible bumper sticker;
It claims to have climbed a mountain.
I like to make these discoveries my own.

With a barely legible bumper sticker
That I once scraped and preserved,
Having never been on that trail
I dreamed of wonders and adventures.

It claims to have climbed a mountain,
But then again so do I,
When it comes time to tell stories
That others can’t disprove.

I like to make these discoveries my own,
Even though most realities
Can be found on the Roku.
“See that mountain over there…”
