Drinking was Involved

The mystery of this weird event
was never really solved.
Yeah, as you may have guessed at once,
some drinking was involved.

You maybe would have thought by now
that we have all evolved.
But some of us are still not there.
And drinking was involved.

And after one too many drinks
the whole room had revolved.
We could not get our heads on straight
‘cause drinking was involved.

Just like some hazy dreams you’ve had
that suddenly dissolved,
it’s no surprise to anyone
that drinking was involved.

Who can we blame for what took place?
Well, that is unresolved.
There’s no one who remembers much.
More drinking was involved.

Not one of us is free of guilt.
No one can be absolved.
We all took part in what transpired.
