Winter as observed from my 'window'
Beneath frozen levels of winter ice
birds hovered
Beyond coming to feed maybe thrice
they're covered

As Angels wink at another day
darkness spies
In concert with a missing May
light ness lies

Born beyond this fleeting storm
Woofie lurks
In essence free and purely warm
sweetened perks

Gracefully flowing whiteness shroud
comes anon
Purveying soon to be allowed
will be gone
