Always be careful what and who you wish for.
On the gossamer wings of a fading dream
My phantom lover is sped,
Promising me eternity
If she may share my bed,

Wrapped in sheets of moonlit weave
Our secret bargain made,
Bodies merging into one
'Neath silken counterpane.

Being and non-being
Are almost being,
Light and dark
Becoming grey,
Solid melting into liquid,
Running silently away.
