Open Borders

The white rabbit pulled out the watch from his waistcoat. “He’s late.”

“What for?”

“The opening of the borders, of course.”

“What? Have they been closed?”

Rabbit shook his head and took his gold watch out again. His white ears twitched.

“Go on then, don’t keep me in the dark.”

“In the dark? Where have you been, mate?”

“Nowhere, just been keeping a low profile. Apparently there’s been a virus going round.”

“Oh! Here’s his car. About time.”

“Who are you waiting for?”

“Australian Prime Minister.”

“That the guy? Holding a bloody great key?”

“That’s the guy. Open at last.”
