Life's a Carousel
Merry Go Round

We ride on bobbing horses,
as the scenery whirls around,
and finish at the starting line,
pursued by ups and downs.

Chasing pomp and circumstance
in search of one big thing,
we stretch with desperation
to snatch the golden ring.
