a story of being lost, afraid, and in dire need of salvation
Lost alone in the desert
I stumbled through the sand,
burning the soles of my work-worn feet,
a stranger in this land.

For days, nay, weeks! I trudged on,
lost, tired, and alone
searching for a purpose in life
and a place to call my home.

Forever it seemed, I wandered on
my thirst driving me forward.
Until, at last! I found you,
and you filled me with your word.
