We GAVE her opportunity, and support, the majority of the city uplifted her. She is the 1st black woman to be elected to her position in the history of Pdx. We gave her something to be proud of... we believed her AND we believed IN her. We TRUSTED her. Everyone I knew had such high hopes for her and was so convinced she would make Pdx proud. |
